Holiday park with heated pool and coastal views from Bamburgh
Accommodation
Waren Caravan Park offers holiday homes, touring pitches, and glamping wigwams. Each static caravan has a private bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. Welcome packs include tea, coffee, biscuits, and washing-up supplies.
Facilities
The park has a heated swimming pool and a children's splash pool. There is a bar and restaurant called the Witch & Worm on site. Guests also have access to a games room and a nature trail with views of Lindisfarne.
Dining
The Witch & Worm serves pub meals and has a separate takeaway pizza van on site. The bar offers a selection of drinks, and a food van operates on certain days. The on-site shop stocks milk, bread, beer, and basic supplies.
Family & Children
Children have two play areas and a large playing field for outdoor games. The heated splash pool is open during warmer months and requires no advance booking. Family shower rooms and a games room with arcade machines are also available.
Location & Activities
Ross Back Sands is a 15-minute walk from the park, and Bamburgh Castle is 4.2 km away. The site has a dog-walking area with poo bins and views of Budle Bay. Guests can also visit Lindisfarne Castle (23 km) and Alnwick Castle (25 km) by car.

“The layout, with trees and banks subtly dividing the camping areas, creates a pleasant sense of privacy that's quite charming. I found the on-site shop and the convenience of the bar, with its friendly staff, to be real assets given the limited walkable amenities, though clearer signage for opening times would be helpful. It's a well-appointed site, particularly noted for its cleanliness and family-friendly atmosphere, making it a solid base for exploring the Northumberland coast.”
