4-star woodland cabins on the River Perry in Shropshire
Cabins & Grounds
Riverside Cabins places each unit along the River Perry in private woodland near Shrewsbury. The site offers a smoke house for barbecues, a communal quarry with a seated viewing point, and a large grassy area with football goals. Each cabin sits on its own decked area with a private hot tub and a fire pit.
On-Site Activities
Guests can use free kayaks and paddle boards with lifejackets provided on the River Perry. A purpose-built solid yurt named The Nest hosts yoga retreats led by a Leith's trained chef. The site also has a natural plunge pool for wild swimming and hammocks hung in the trees around the grounds.
Rooms
Cabins such as Gloria, Roscoe, and Caesar sleep up to six guests in three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Each cabin has underfloor heating, a fully equipped kitchen with an air fryer, and a washer/dryer. The Grumbles cabin is set back among the trees on stilts with its own private hot tub.
Pet Policies
Select cabins such as Snowy and Doris are dog-friendly and include dog bowls, a clean bed, and a pack of treats upon arrival. The surrounding woodland and the River Perry offer direct walking routes for dogs from the cabin doorstep. Pets are permitted throughout the site, including on the private deck areas.
