“This property truly leans into its dark, moody aesthetic, creating an atmosphere that's both sexy and exceptionally quiet, a surprising feat given its central York location. While some rooms, like the Labyrinth, demand an adjustment for taller guests due to low ceilings and dim lighting, the sheer comfort of the beds and the innovative design, such as the dual bath setup, make for a distinctive experience. Attention to detail, from the handmade soaps to the surprise engagement chocolates, adds a personal, thoughtful touch that elevates the stay.”
